Kylie Minogue Lands First No. 1 on Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart With ‘Disco’

Plus, moves for ARTY, Audien, Ellee Duke, Sigala., James Arthur & Sam Smith.

Kylie Minogue commands her first No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart (dated Nov. 21) with the entrance of Disco. The set earned 19,000 equivalent album units, including 15,000 from album sales, in its first week (ending Nov. 12), according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

The sales sum marks Minogue’s best in a decade, since Aphrodite began with 18,000 copies sold in July 2010.

Disco is also the Australian icon’s fifth top 10 on Top Dance/Electronic Albums (which originated in 2001), joining Aphrodite (No. 2), X (No. 4, 2008), Boombox: The Remix Album 2000-2008 (No. 10, 2009) and Kiss Me Once (No. 3, 2014).
