Fans of the Air Jordan 5 will be pleased to find out that the “Oreo” colorway is expected to return in 2021. Multiple sneaker insiders have reported the upcoming release this week, including @zsneakerheadz, who says the retro model will arrive on July 24.
The “Oreo” Air Jordan 5 first released in the fall of 2013, accounting for one of the best-selling Jordans that year. More than 500,000 pairs were sold, which is considerable for a non-OG colorway.
Adhering to the name of the colorway, the sneaker is dressed in black suede, while the white shading comes into play via the lining and midsole. Below, the outsole bears an icy, semi-translucent effect.
It remains to be seen how the 2021 Air Jordan 5 “Oreo” will look in comparison to the 2013 iteration, which is pictured here. Regardless, be sure to check back us for more on the rumored return.
