Watch Christine and the Queens Perform “People, I’ve been sad” on Corden

Christine and the Queens appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden last night (November 5). She performed “People, I’ve been sad” and chatted about the song and her next album, as well as laying out the origin story of her dance aesthetic. Check out the performance, set in Paris’ Chapelle des Beaux-Arts, below.

In August, Christine and the Queens and Caroline Polachek released La vita nuova REMIXES EP, which featured three remixes of the title track from February’s La vita nuova EP. In addition to releasing new song “Eyes of a Child” over the summer, she’s covered Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m on Fire,” Travis Scott’s “HIGHEST IN THE ROOM,” and the Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” this year.
