Ronnie Fieg took to Instagram to tease what many believe to be the retail version of last year’s friends & family Nike Air Force 1. Fieg teased the latest shoe by posting a look at the latest cover of Japanese sneaker publication Shoes Master, which features a shot of the collaborative Air Force 1s.
Fieg captioned the post with “First cover of my favorite sneaker publication of all time. The only way to announce this one.” Particularly the last statement makes it sound like this Nike Air Force 1 will be released to the general public.
Late last year, the Kith founder repeatedly teased a pair of Nike Air Force 1s that featured the brand’s box logo debossed into the Swoosh on the side and a mini Swoosh applied at the forefoot.
This latest pair features an all-white leather upper with red detailing on the lining, heel, and tongue. The heel features “Kith Air” branding, while the sole unit looks to be pre-yellowed.
Kith has also been hinting at a move to Japan recently, and this pair is likely to commemorate any new opening in Japan.
No official word yet on when or whether this sneaker will be released, so stay tuned for any updates.
