In what is sure to be a game-changing collaboration, Louis Vuitton is partnering with the NBA, WWD reports.
Louis Vuitton recently issued a save-the-date for a January 22 event at the fashion house’s flagship store on Avenue Montaigne in Paris. The invitation features a graphic design of a basketball court with the LV logo in the center circle.
The invite reads, “Michael Burke, chairman and chief executive officer, Louis Vuitton is pleased to invite you to celebrate the new partnership between Louis Vuitton and NBA.”
Take a look at the design below.
The Louis Vuitton x NBA event is scheduled for January 22, just two days before the Charlotte Hornets and Milwaukee Bucks suit up for the inaugural NBA regular season game in Paris at the AccorHotels Arena.
This will not be the French fashion house’s first sports collaboration, however. Louis Vuitton has previously produced trophy cases for the World Cup, America’s Cup, Rugby World Cup, and Roland-Garros tennis tournament. The label also recently partnered with Riot Games on a ready-to-wear League of Legends collection.
