Watch slowthai Test The Warehouse Project’s Massive New Venue

[ad_1]

slowthai headlines Highsnobiety Soundsystem x The Warehouse Project on December 7, where he’ll be performing alongside Fredo, Mike Skinner, CASisDEAD, Flohio, Bakar, Places+Faces, Tiffany Calver, and more. The final remaining tickets are available for purchase here.

slowthai swept through 2019 like a hurricane of punk energy and politically-charged intent. His non-stop touring barely gave him chance to stop by the Mercury Prize ceremony to collect his Album of the Year shortlist award – and yet, while in Manchester for a sold-out show, he wanted to check out the Highsnobiety Soundsystem venue, to make sure that the industrial train depot will be able to withstand the raucous nature of his headlining performance on December 7.

Naturally, he was joined by his apprentice woioii, the “crack rabbit” who haunts his dreams and conducts his raves. Armed with a hi-vis and hard hat, the pair put the Depot through its paces, before taking to the roof to contemplate the madness of his life-changing year. Afterwards, he headed back to Manchester for his biggest UK headline show to date.

Highsnobiety Soundsystem, our first in collaboration with Manchester’s world-renowned seasonal rave series, is curated to celebrate the very best in British underground culture. Number-one selling rapper Fredo co-headlines with slowthai, while Kojey Radical, Flohio, Tiffany Calver, and hometown heroes Children of Zeus all feature, with a closing DJ set by Mike Skinner of The Streets, a pivotal figure in the development of contemporary UK rave culture.
