An annual favorite, Nike unveils the designs for this year’s Doernbecher Freestyle collection. Nike has been partnering with OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital since 2004 to give young patients the opportunity to design their own Nike sneaker. To date, the program has raised almost $24 million dollars for Doernbecher, as profits are awarded to the hospital.

The 2019 Doernbecher Freestyle collection consists of six sneakers including the Air Force 1, React Element 55, Zoom Pegasus Turbo 2, Air Max Triax 96, Zoom Janoski, and Air Jordan 14 Retro. Coming from six Doernbecher patients, you can learn more about each design, as well as the kids who created them, by clicking through the gallery underneath.

Nike is scheduled to release this year’s Doernbecher Freestyle collection on December 7 at select stores and online.
