Editor’s Notes: UNITED ARROWS has been in business for 30 years and to celebrate, the Japanese label has revisited New Balance’s iconic “1500” silhouette. The shoe was introduced in 1989 with a revolutionary integrated midsole.
Today, the shoe receives a refined brown colorway, finished off with a clean black outersole and of course an ENCAP midsole in grey and white.
The modern sneaker is constructed from dark brown suede panels together with dark leather sections, stitched with complimentary brown thread. The New Balance “N” is done up in lighter brown stitching, while the “1500” is subtly rendered in darkest brown thread. You can shop the celebratory sneaker in time for fall at New Balance Japan.
