Similar to numerous other apps, Instagram has been updated to feature iOS 13’s new dark mode. Now, you can alleviate the strain on your eyes a bit by scrolling through a more visually pleasing feed with less bright color.

Unlike Twitter, however, you cannot switch the dark mode on and off in the Instagram app itself. Instead, it will coincide with the system-wide settings on your Phone. This is a very common issue at the moment, seeing as most apps are implementing dark mode support for the first time.

To try out dark mode for Instagram, make sure you have the latest version of the iOS app. The feature is also available for Android.
