Editor’s Notes: Opening Ceremony and Skechers come together for the first time ever to collaborate on one of Skechers’ more iconic silhouettes, the Energy, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the sneaker. For those who don’t remember, the Energy debuted with Britney Spears in 1999 and went on to become one of the more sought after sneakers of the 2000s.

Here, we find the Energy taking on a chic style with a chunky outsole. The sneaker boasts a semi-transparent upper revealing monochromatic branding.

Opening Ceremony focuses on the monochromatic design of the Energy through a futuristic campaign starring model Niko Riam and shot by photographer Boris Ovini. The imagery is highlighted in the top gallery.

Optioned in white, black, and brown colorways, you can find the Opening Ceremony x Skechers Energy available exclusively through Opening Ceremony.
