Y-3 is introducing the new FYW S-97, a reimagining of adidas‘ foundational Salvation sneaker. Released in 1997, the Salvation was one adidas’ first running sneakers to utilize the Feet You Wear technology.

Today, the FYW S-97 has been updated with modern technology including a Primeknit upper and a BOOST sole. The flexible upper is embroidered with Yohji Yamamoto‘s signature. On the heel and forefoot, you’ll find suede and leather detailing. Finally, the black and white midsole features cut-outs exposing the boost.

The FYW S-97 will be available July 18 in two colorways:  white/black/off-white and black/white. You’ll be able to cop at Y-3.com, Y-3 flagship stores, and other select retailers worldwide.
