While the world continues to mourn the death of Nipsey Hussle, fans of the late rapper can continue to support him and his family not only by purchasing his music but also through footwear and apparel collaborations. PUMA, for one, has come out this week stating that it will continue to release products in collaboration with Nipsey and his estate.
PUMA Brand and Marketing Global Director Adam Petrick revealed the news during The Wall Street Journal’s Future of Everything Festival, as he spoke on the brand’s endorsers, more specifically, how they are selected.
“He was somebody that was doing great stuff, and he had this idea about how he could improve the community and how he could push for that,” Petrick said of Nipsey. “The concept of working with Nipsey just made sense.”
“We had a lot of things that were coming, and hopefully a lot of things we will still do with his estate. We’ll work with his family and we’ll support his kids,” he added. “We’re going to continue to release some product that we’ve created with him. We’ve also got some charity activations that we’ll do to support what he was doing in Crenshaw, and trying to continue the work that he was doing through his foundation.”
PUMA has yet to announce what specifically is on the way in collaboration with Nipsey and his estate, but as always, be sure to stay tuned for more.
