Editor’s Notes: First introduced in the 2000’s, Nike is reintroducing the Pegasus Trail with a fresh look and new performance innovations for outdoor use. Designed for everyday training with crossover road to trail versatility, the Nike Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail builds off the heritage of the Pegasus, while retaining key benefits.
Performance improvements includes an entirely mesh upper and skins in the high-wear areas of the forefoot and heel are engineered for durability and abrasion protection. It has a slimmer, light-weight design in the tongue to reduce bulk for a more comfortable and conforming fit. It also keeps the same shape, fit and feel as the Pegasus, making it familiar to the casual runner.
A Pegasus outsole with reinforced, enlarged lugs that are flattened at the top for more traction while also offering an easy transition from dirt to road so runners won’t feel like they’re running on cleats. Widened forefoot and heel nets with separate Zoom Air units in the forefoot and heel offer added stability on uneven surfaces and a responsive run.
