Nike and Nordstrom have officially launched its first-ever men’s sneaker boutique in New York City, located at the luxury department store’s Manhattan flagship. The opening becomes the sixth collaborative concept store between both brands, following women’s boutiques in Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Toronto and Vancouver.
Olivia Kim, VP of creative projects at Nordstrom, curated the retail space along with Nike’s design team, as Kim appointed British designer Max Lamb to create the interior aesthetic, which included custom fixtures covered with vibrant branded wallpaper in turquoise and pink hues.
Alongside offering sneakers, which included re-releases of popular silhouettes like the atmos x Nike Air Max2 Light, Blazer Mid ’77 and the React Element 87 in a number of colorways, the boutique also includes a series of merchandise from other renowned brands, including Calvin Klein, Givenchy, Stone Island and more.
The grand opening will also offer a capsule from LA-based menswear brand RTH and literature from VIDOUN, while the space continues its signature services by offering customers three-hour same day delivery in NYC, in-store pickups for online purchases, sneaker cleaning and personal styling assistance.
