Editor’s Notes: Y-3 introduces an all-new basketball-inspired silhouette with the KASABARU. The KASABARU is a nod to adidas’ Trimm Trab of the ’70s, specifically the silhouette’s thick, flexible sole.
Y-3’s experimental KASABARU boasts lightweight yet durable nylon upper construction, paired with a scalloped rubber outsole designed for comfort. The sneaker then notes sail-inspired stitch reinforcements and stitched detailing along the eye-stays. Furthermore, the KASABARU welcomes a 360-degree elastic rubber lacing tube, which allows the nylon upper to adapt to the foot of the wearer.
You can look forward to Y-3’s KASABARU debuting in black and white colorways on February 28.
