In addition to the Galaxy S10, today Samsung unveils a trio of wearables for balanced and connected living, with the Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Buds.
The Galaxy Watch Active is a smartwatch designed for those who seek a healthier lifestyle. Featuring a sporty new design, the accessory is thin, lightweight and versatile, as you can pair various straps with the stylish watch face.
Samsung’s new smartwatch ultimately serves as a personal lifestyle coach, monitoring everything from stress and sleep, to exercise. In addition to keeping your stress levels in check, and tracking your fitness, the Galaxy Watch Active monitors your blood pressure. While exercising, you can also utilize third party apps to further track your indoor and/or outdoor activities.
Alongside the Galaxy Watch Active, Samsung introduces another piece of wristwear with the Galaxy Fit. Just like the Galaxy Watch Active, the Galaxy Fit is water-resistant of 5ATM, specifically designed for all types of fitness enthusiasts, from casual runners to more committed athletes.
Made to be worn all week long, the Galaxy Fit starts tracking your activity automatically whenever you walk, run, bike, row or start a dynamic workout. The Samsung Health app allows you to choose from more than 90 different activities on your smartphone, as the Galaxy Fit will then track your workout accordingly.
Furthermore, Samsung’s Galaxy Fit ensures you stay connected, delivering messages and other alerts. You can also utilize your alarm, calendar or weather, directly on your wrist.
The last item from Samsung’s new selection of wearables are the Galaxy Buds. The cord-free earbuds provide you with a seamlessly connected experience on the go.
With sound by AKG and built-in microphones, the Galaxy Buds allow you to remain aware of your surroundings even during use, thanks to Enhanced Ambient Sound. The earbuds can handle up to six hours of Bluetooth streaming and up to five hours of calls, while their case then holds a charge up to seven hours, all while providing the Galaxy Buds with 1.7 hours on a 15-minute quick charge. In addition to the wireless charging case, you can charge the earbuds with the all-new Galaxy S10 using device-to-device power sharing. Lastly, internal microphones allow you to use your voice to make calls, send texts or check the battery life of your earbuds.
Starting at $199.99, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Active launches on March 8, while the Galaxy Buds arrive the same day for $129.99. Galaxy Fit is then scheduled to release in Q2 2019.
