Brands: atmos x Nike
Key Pieces: The entire capsule looks solid, but the strongest pieces are the windbreaker, hoodie and the Air Max 98.
Editor’s Notes: Last year during ComplexCon, atmos creative director Hirofumi Kojima revealed a colorful atmos x Nike Air Max Light 2 inspired by vintage ’90s Nike catalogs that is suggested to make its debut for this year’s Air Max Day in March.
Now, the Tokyo retailer has unveiled another forthcoming collaboration with the Swoosh, this time on a small capsule dubbed the “Tokyo Neon Collection.”

Encompassing a windbreaker, hoodie, T-shirt and standout footwear offerings with the Nike Air Max 98 and Air Max 90, the silhouettes flaunt the same aesthetic with a black base and detailed with pops of neon tones like yellow, green, pink and orange. The vibrant theme also seems to be inspired by classic neon highlighters, but as the title suggests, the capsule takes cues from the fluorescent neon lights that dominate Tokyo’s skyline.
According to atmos, the bold capsule is slated to drop exclusively in Japan at select retailers on February 16. Availability for the sneakers, however, are expected to hit stateside stockists soon.
