Since his move from furniture into menswear design in 1995, Raf Simons has left an indelible mark on fashion, and pieces from his earlier collections are prized by fans and industry insiders. The RAF SIMONS ARCHIVE BOOK, split in two, spans the periods of 1996-2001 and 2001-2006 respectively, making it both a comprehensive resource and visual pleasure for devotees of the Belgian designer.

Containing “No text. Just numbers. Two big black books. 1996-2001 and 2001-2006,” the two books comprise a total of 700 pages. That translates to somewhere in the region of 700 pieces and a full decade of Raf Simons. Publishers, IDEA Books, describe the publication as  a “best kept secret” by which they mean “these books are best kept secret” as they are “too good and too special.”

The entirely text-free tome is available for £200 GBP ($264 USD) from IDEA Books. The two volumes ship together – both shrink wrapped in one solid block of black. But you’ll need to be fast, as the publisher only has 20 has copies to ship. A second drop will be announced soon.
