Editor’s Notes: Nike is dropping a colorful trio of Blazer Mid ’77s this Saturday. All three colorways are dressed in a white leather upper and feature midsoles with a vintage finish. Each pair stands out thanks to a colorful contrasting Swoosh in either blue, red, or green.
The Blazer Mid first debuted back in 1972 and was named after Portland’s then-new basketball team after it joined the NBA. Since its arrival, it’s become a classic both on and off the court, with several big brands using it as its canvas for their collaborations.
Most notably, Virgil Abloh included the Blazer Mid in his Nike “The Ten” collection, while Supreme and other brands have also given the silhouette their own personal twist.
Look for the pack to drop at Nike and select retailers on January 19 for $100.
