In support of Colin Kaepernick, Cardi B has reportedly chunked up the deuce to NFL’s biggest day. So, if you were hoping to hear “Money” live while scarfing down wings and buffalo dip watching the upcoming Super Bowl, think again. According to a statement from her rep sent to Page Six, the New York rapper is “not particularly interested” in the gig, which is highly influenced by Kaeps movement.

“The rumor circulating that she wants a million dollars and she wants her own set is false, her rep reveals. “There was never a firm offer to begin with for a performance. There [were] talks about it, but she was not particularly interested in participating because of how she feels about Colin Kaepernick and the whole movement,” the rep told Page Six. “But again, there was never a solid offer for her to say yes or no to regarding the Super Bowl. She is already confirmed to do a set with Bruno Mars that weekend.”

The NFL has basically shunned Kaepernick after his famous game day “take a knee” protest during the national anthem, which is his ongoing fight against social injustice and police brutality in America. Colin opted out of his contract in 2017 and is now in the process of suing the NFL and its owners for colluding to prevent his hiring. The league’s controversial treatment of the once-quarterback, has influenced other athletes and artists to act and speak out against the sport.

Cardi B isn’t the only rapper trying to boycott the Super Bowl halftime show. Last week, we reported on JAY-Z reaching out to Travis Scott, who is rumored to be performing alongside Maroon 5, to try and convince him to step down as well. Rihanna has also declined offers to perform at sport’s biggest event in support of Kaep. Will this be a rapper-less halftime show?

In the comments below, let us know what you think on the rapper boycott of the Super Bowl.

In other news, Rihanna just hinted at a 2019 album release.
