Editor’s Notes: mastermind JAPAN reunites with Vans for a subtle remix of its Old Skool silhouette which is sure to be a winner among shoppers.

The classic monochrome design has been re-designed with a number of minute details, including the black rubber midsole featuring embossed “mastermind” lettering and the brand’s famed skull and crossbones logo on the heel. It sits right above Vans’ very own deck logo.

According to mastermind, the shoe will initially roll out at its Tokyo store as well as California Dept‘s Lumineste store. Additional retailers will soon be announced along with the official price of the shoe.
