Kanye West Clarifies He “Wasn’t Stumped” by Big Kimmel Question

By now, you should have undoubtedly heard about Kanye West’s big interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Delving into a variety of topics, his appearance was most notable for his candid discussion of his hugely controversial support of Donald Trump.

In particular, West’s interview segment ends on a dramatic note with an abrupt finish. Kimmel asks him “Whether we like his personality or not, his actions are really what matter. You so famously and so powerfully said ‘George Bush doesn’t care about black people.’ It makes me wonder, what makes you think that Donald Trump does?” West sits in silence for a few moments, before the segment then ends for a commercial break.

Now, Kanye has taken to Twitter to dispel the notion that he didn’t have an answer. “I’m reading that I was stumped by a question,” he writes, “Let me clarify the click bait. I wasn’t stumped. I wasn’t given a chance to answer the question.” See his tweets below.

Jimmy Kimmel has also weighed in on the matter, writing that “Some answers need to be considered and a talk show with time constraints is a difficult place to do that.” See his thoughts below.

In other (big) Kanye news, he has dropped a new track titled “XTCY.” Give it a listen right here.
