In a bold move, Danish fashion and lifestyle brand Wood Wood has opened a store in Copenhagen Airport. Located in Terminal 2, the store stands in the shopping and dining area and features an array of product.
While the architecture of the airport fits well with Wood Wood’s signature style, boasting typically minimal Scandinavian features, it’s an interesting and atypical decision from a brand which identifies itself with contemporary streetwear.
Karl-Oskar Olsen, WW’s creative director and menswear designer explains, “It’s an old dream that comes true as we have talked about the possibility of having a store at Copenhagen Airport for many years.
“The airport store is a kind of satellite store that is adapted to the airport and the mechanisms underlying the shopping area of the airport.”
In terms of items on offer, travelers will see a mix of Wood Wood product, external brands, and exclusive options created specifically for the airport store.
