IKEA is relaunching select archive pieces to celebrate its 75th anniversary. The commemorative GRATULERA collection will comprise vintage home furnishings spanning the 1950s to the 1990s.

GRATULERA will arrive in three installments across Fall 2018, with each drop focussing on a specific time period.

In August, designs from the ’50s and ’60s such as the Knäsjö floor lamp and Ganget armchair will be relaunched — perfect for those who want their home to exude a Mad Men-esque vibe. September rolls into the ’70s and ’80s with colorfully patterned rugs, puffy couches, and bold prints, while December tackles the ’90s, and is dominated by sleek, minimal designs.

“We felt a strong need for sharing and celebrating our history and heritage while highlighting the variations in styles and designs from IKEA the last 75 years,” says Karin Gustavsson, Creative leader of IKEA Sweden.

“Each launch is different from the other, signifying its time period; from dark woods with a classic expression to a very playful style with strong colors and then to a more natural look with natural Scandinavian woods and graphic colors.”

The GRATULERA collection is available worldwide this August. For more details, visit IKEA.

Elsewhere, Coco Capitán’s “Is It Tomorrow Yet’ Exhibition takes over Seoul.
