Editor’s Notes: Uniqlo has shared the first images of its upcoming U collection for FW18 and it’s teeming with fresh takes on outerwear and other staples for the season ahead.

The capsule’s varied outerwear selection is built for defense against wind or rain, including the Blocktech coat, fishtail parka, and fleece jacket. The collection also includes a variety of elevated basics such as a long-sleeve crewneck and turtleneck, both of which are ideal for layering. All items come in a selection of muted autumnal colors.

In tandem with apparel, Uniqlo is also dropping a number of accessories, including footwear and side bags for when you’re on the go. Among the neutral colors used throughout the capsule are camel, cream, black, and different shades of brown and gray.

The first part of the Uniqlo U FW18 collection will be available online and at the brand’s NYC 5th Avenue store on September 13, with other stores to follow on September 14. The second part will follow on October 11 online and in NYC, before a wider release on October 12.
