Take an Exclusive Look at the Funky Video For FENDI’s Fancy Sneaker

Today FENDI announces its new genderless sneaker silhouette, the Fancy FENDI. Accompanying the sneaker is the above video, which is part of a campaign dubbed “F is for FUNK” and can be viewed exclusively here on Highsnobiety.

Featured in the video are seven young dancing talents, including Bboys Junior and Sunni, headspin world record-holder Roxy, and the first-ever female popping champion in DeyDey.

Dressed in head-to-toe FENDI and rocking the new Fancy sneakers, the seven dancers take part in a freestyle dance-off on the FENDI rooftop in Rome.

The sneaker itself is a hi-tech shoe with a streetwear and urban touch and is highlighted by a chunky rubber sole with a cushioned gel bubble and a multilayered mix of materials across its upper.

On-trend and chunky, the runner utilizes transparent net and shiny PVC alongside soft leather and suede for a futuristic, yet luxurious design.

Made for both men and women, the Fancy FENDI sneaker will be available in a range of color combinations — whether tone-on-tone or multicolor — and will hit select FENDI boutiques starting July 16.

To begin with, customers will be able to choose from three distinct colorways; a black Fancy FENDI with hits of red and white, another with juxtaposed shades of grey and brown, and a plain light grey and white variation with a black counter and FENDI yellow on the cushioned air bubble.
