Key Pieces: The collection is teaming with solid pieces, all of which are ideal for brightening up your wardrobe. Personal favorites include the multi-print text T-shirt (slide 5) and the OKTYABR (October) short sleeve (slide 8).
Release Date: July 28
Buy: OKTYABR and Dover Street Market.
Editor’s Notes: Gosha Rubchinskiy and Tolia Titaev’s PACCBET team —pronounced Rassvet — are set to open a new multi-brand skate store in Moscow, and have launched a fourth capsule to coincide with the grand opening.
The collection, which serves as follow up to the team’s Carhartt collaboration, pays homage to Russia’s skateboarding scene. Cyrillic text appears throughout the collection, cropping up in different fonts and sizes on sweaters, T-shirts, socks, and decks.
A selection of the garments features OKTYABR (October) text, which is the name of the forthcoming store located in Moscow’s Arbat district. According to the brand, the location emphasizes “the unique combination of the aesthetics of historic Moscow, the Soviet modernism of Noviy Arbat, and the underground subculture scene.”
For those wondering what some of the other Cyrillic text means, check out a list of translations below.
“Rassvet” — Sunrise
“OKTYABR” — October
“rassvet ne za gorami” — The dawn is around the corner point
“материя рассвета” — Matter of the dawn
“схема сознания”— Outline for consciousnesses
“Дух” — Spirit
While the initial drop will launch at OKTYABR on July 28, fans can soon cop select items at Dover Street Market and COMME des GARÇONS locations.
