After Takashi Murakami hinted at a collaboration with Drake’s OVO label back in March, Drizzy himself has now dropped his own big hint, rocking a black hoodie with Murakami’s amalgamation of his signature flowerhead with the OVO owl.
🤩 @champagnepapi ovo×🌸
This wouldn’t be the Japanese artist’s first musical collaboration, having lent his talents to Kanye West and Kid Cudi’s Kids See Ghosts album artwork last month. Murakami shared the above picture of Drake wearing his design on Instagram with the caption “@champagnepapi ovo×🌸.”
I love this!!! @champagnepapi I am so glad that we are able to become friends even though we are across the world!! Thank you!!! スゲぇ！！！ @champagnepapi さん！ 広い世界の遠いところに住んでいるのに、お知り合いになれて大変光栄です！ありがと〜！！
While any specific project is yet to be confirmed, something would appear to be in the works between the two parties. Expect more news as it drops.
