Editor’s Notes: As well as his Hu NMD kicks, rumors suggest Pharrell Williams is lending a creative hand to another adidas model: the Crazy BYW. Early hints at the collab were revealed via an Instagram post back in April. The singer was seen donning a multi-patterned black/pink iteration of the Crazy BYW with the word “AMBITION” running down the upper in white.

As a black man, my ambitions come in many different colors.

Now images have surfaced of two Crazy BYWs: the one worn in the Instagram shot, and another with “AMBITION” in black along the top of a pink and white Primeknit upper. The shoe is completed by a sock-like ankle cuff and a simple lacing system that fuses into the shoe’s perforated upper. For extra comfort, the sneaker also boasts a Boost heel midsole.

It’s believed that both pairs, in “chalk pink” and “solar pink,” will drop this summer with a rumored price tag of $250 each. If so, the kicks will most likely be available at select adidas retailers. We’ll keep you posted with the details as and when they arise.

Elsewhere in the sneaker world, Nike’s M2K Tekno will be available in men’s sizes this month. Details here.
