The Milanese brand advocating sustainable and animal-free apparel, Save the Duck, has just unveiled their second capsule collection in collaboration with the progressive performance wear label Dyne. The Spring/Summer 2019 collection follows on from the brands’ successful first collaborative drop in January and is designed, once again, by Dyne’s creative director and streetwear giant Christopher Bevans.
Maintaining the clean appeal of the previous collection, this season’s range is expanded to include full head-to-toe looks for the first time. Created with advanced technical materials, the collection features rainwear and down-free micro-puffer jackets alongside sweatshirts, t-shirts, and technical pants.
Since the brand’s inception, Save the Duck has been committed to setting an ethical example in the fashion industry by producing premium cruelty-free and sustainable clothing. The SS19 collaboration is no exception, seamlessly combining this ambition with Dyne’s desire to progress performance wear, resulting in a capsule that is conscious in its design and contemporary in its aesthetic.
Dyne for Save the Duck is yet another accomplishment under designer Bevans’ belt, who was previously a global design director at Nike and has worked with a roster of high-profile names including Kanye West, Jay Z, LeBron James, and the Billionaire Boys Club. Globally recognized for his progressive approach, earlier this year he took home The Woolmark Company‘s inaugural Innovation Award for his inventive Dyne collection that incorporated trackable NFC chips into the garments.
