Spanish luxury brand LOEWE debuts its SS19 advertising campaign just in time for the beginning of men’s fashion week in Paris. Lensed by esteemed photographer Steven Meisel, the three images will be plastered all over the city as well-heeled editors, buyers, and other industry types flock from place-to-place to view the latest Spring/Summer 2019 menswear collections.
In the campaign, model Oscar Kindelan doubles as a younger doppelgänger of Meisel, and is styled to look just like the photographer. A second visual features actor Josh O’Connor in a timely resort setting inspired by Meisel’s back catalog, wearing sunglasses from the new LOEWE collection.
Lastly, a third image shot by Thomas Cristiani and Adrien Toubiana is a bit more straightforward, announcing two new handbags from LOEWE, the Gate and Mini Gate, which are slated to release globally on September 2018.
In addition to the Paris-wide campaign, the SS19 images are also on display at a billboard outside LOEWE’s St. Sulpice studio.
