Editor’s Notes: With Francesco Ragazzi’s Palm Angels SS19 collection mixing rave culture with Americana, it comes as no huge surprise to see this celebration of a classic American kick, the Nike Air Force 1, here given a rave-vibe overhaul. Alongside its neon pink laces and two-tone Swoosh, the customized sneaker also plays on Virgil Abloh’s “The Ten” collection with Nike. Mimicking Abloh’s trademark use of bold infographic-esque text, this version is splattered with phrases such as “PALM,” “My-Self™,” and “I FEEL LIKE ABLOH.”

Abloh is likely fine with Palm Angels’ tongue-in-cheek riff — both Palm Angels and OFF-WHITE are under New Guards Group, the same group that looks after Marcelo Burlon’s County of Milan.
