Editor’s Notes: Founders Jack Murray and Vincent Olivieri have partnered with photographer and filmmaker David Hughes on this standout debut from new multi-national sport and casual wear brand, Figura. Launched in 2017, the label’s debut collection channels ’70s and ’80s Mediterranean aesthetics via “criminal fraternities and European resistance movements.”
As the lookbook above shows, the summer collection boasts a range of graphic tees, racing jackets, shorts, Hawaiian shirts, and even a vintage car or two, if you’re interested in copping. The capsule primarily sticks to blocked, neutral colors with smatterings of patterned items for a little southern European color and flair.
Currently, the brand operates between London, Paris, and Corsica, blending the sturdier working-class stylings of the English capital with refined French leanings.
David Hughes’ promo for the capsule can be watched here, uploaded by Glen Travis on Vimeo.
The Figura SS18 collection is available online now. And for those who wish to stay updated with the label, be sure to give them a follow on Instagram.
