Reddit Passes Facebook as Third Most Popular Website in U.S.

Reddit had been the fourth most popular website in the United States for almost a year, that is until this week when “the front page of the internet” surpassed Facebook, moving up to the number three spot. The shift finds Reddit now positioned behind YouTube at number two and Google at number one. Facebook in turn takes over the fourth spot, as Amazon then comes in at number five.

Visitors, however, spend more time on Reddit than its aforementioned competitors, logging more than 15 minutes daily, that in comparison to Facebook’s 10 minutes and 49 seconds, which is the second most stateside. Reddit’s daily page views are also rather impressive, coming in at 9.73 per visitor.
