In 2016, artist, songwriter and Kanye West collaborator, Rhymefest, bought Donda West’s house to create a “community arts incubator” and HQ for youth charity; aptyl titled Donda’s House. Along with Donnie Smith, Rhymefest and Kanye created the nonproift in 2011 to support Chicago’s youth.
However things have not been going too smoothly.
Following recent struggles to keep the center afloat, allegedly due to lack of support from Kanye, Rhymefest released a statement via the Donda’s House website:
“We ask that as you boycott and protest Kanye West, that you not forget that we are a non-profit organization that like other non-profits needs donations, corporate support and volunteers… we seek support to convert Kanye’s childhood home into a recording studio, museum and learning space – we have been unable to secure the financial support of Kanye despite multiple attempts, and despite those early conversations about his plan of support and advocacy for the youth in our programs.”
After recent events in the past 48 hours unfolded online, Rhymefest released another statement announcing that the organization will be dropping the name “Donda’s House”.

Prior to this, Kim Kardashian had jumped into the fray on Twitter, tweeting “U haven’t been right since u got kicked out of the studio in Hawaii wearing fake Yeezy’s @Rhymefest, You’re over levergenging Kanye’s name & asked Kanye to donate money to u so stop w your fake community politics & lies. Truth is you haven’t been able to sustain the foundation.”
Rhymefest tweeted a response which you can read below

As if it the situation wasn’t messy enough, Rhymefest brought in another third party into the debate when he tweeted at Drake asking for help. Perhaps Drizzy’s recent displays of altruism in his video for “God’s Plan” had something to do with it.
I’m asking @Drake to help the part of Chicago Kanye has Abandoned! Please contact @DondasHouse

Kim has also tweeted the following, which must leave a bitter taste.
Sorry to all of my followers for flooding my timeline I know you have no idea who Rhymefest is.

In other rap beef, the meme’s surrounding Drake and Pusha T right now are savage.
