Editor’s Notes: Jun Takahashi first unveiled his highly technical sneaker at UNDERCOVER’s Paris Fashion Week show back in early March. Now we get our first look at a number of UNDERCOVER x Nike React Element 87 colorways, which are expected to drop this fall.

The five colorways include classic black/white and all-white iterations, as well as more colorful variants featuring hues of blue and red. The translucent upper gives the sneakers the deconstructed look that has been popular with designers such as Alexander Wang and Virgil Abloh for a while now, while the React foam midsole — which some are saying is more comfortable than Boost technology — all but guarantees next-level comfort.

Although no official release information exists as of yet, we don’t think it too early to label the sneakers as Jun Takahashi’s latest masterpiece.
