Back in 2015, a certain dress meme went viral, dividing online opinion as to whether this image was gold/white or blue/black. Now, a new audio iteration of the meme has hit the internet and everyone’s up in arms.
On Tuesday, social media user Cloe Feldman posted a computerized voice clip alongside the question,“What do you hear!?!” with two options: Yanny or Laurel.
The question, while apparently straightforward, has split opinion. In my humble opinion, the clip clearly sounds like “Yanny.” But here at Highsnobiety, one colleague won’t hear a word of it, stating, “Anyone who hears Yanny, your ears are broken.” So yes, responses are mixed and fights might yet break out.

With both sides arguing the toss, and some even hearing both words simultaneously, here are few reactions to the latest viral sensation.

My wife and son both hear “Yanny.” I need a place to crash for a while until I can sort this all out.

people who think it’s laurel:
• are correct
people who think it’s yanny:
• eat pizza with a fork and knife
• don’t use turn signals
• ask for snapchat streaks
• film fights vertically on their phones
• didn’t understand infinity war’s ending

Finally, and we’re not quite sure which camp this user falls in, but we’ll put it here anyway.
I'm a Laurel in the streets and a Yanny in the sheets.

Listen to the clip above and let us know in the comments which camp you belong to. Yanny or Laurel — you decide.
