For the fifth installment in their Artist Series, Helmut Lang showcases works by Carrie Mae Weems. In making use of her Kitchen Table project, we find a trio of images plastered on T-shirts and posters.

From 1989 to 1990, Weems initiated a daily routine where she would photograph herself at her kitchen table, ultimately documenting her story as a woman. The featured cast also includes her daughter, friends, and lover. Carrie is in turn the first African American woman to receive a Guggenheim retrospective.

You can purchase the limited edition T-shirts ($105 USD to $125 USD) and posters ($35 USD) today through Helmut Lang. A portion of the proceeds will then go to Weems’ chosen charity of Social Studies 101.
