Editor’s Notes: When the Nike Air Max 1 “Curry” dropped in 2003 it was part of what many sneakerheads still consider the golden age of the Air Max 1, owed to the sneaker’s distinct shape and classic colorways.

15 years on, Nike is now giving everyone another chance to cop the highly coveted original colorway, alongside two others: green and red (curry). Interestingly, the original Air Max 1 “Curry” was not that popular upon its release. It was only after time had passed that it became a grail for many sneakerheads. This time around, though, it should prove to be much more difficult to scoop yourself a pair.
