Editor’s Notes: A bevy of PUMA Suede iterations are expected this year in celebration of the silhouette’s 50th anniversary, and the next rendition is a collaboration with legendary DJ, author, filmmaker and radio personality, Robert “Bobbito” Garcia.

Also known as a member of the classic hip-hop group Rock Steady Crew, Bobbito and the PUMA Suede came of age at the same time, and this 50th anniversary collab consists as a special design just for the OGs.

“I thought of creating something that’s reminiscent to simpler times of the ’70s during my era of coming up when styles were fluid, sleek and simple, but also always related to b-ball culture,” Bobbito shared.

Rendered in two colorways: vintage burnt orange and white, along with classic white and royal blue, you can find both pairs at PUMA retailers starting this weekend.
