Editor’s Notes: Thanks to Top Dawg Entertainment president Dave Free, we get a first look at what Sneakernews is calling the third installment in the ongoing collaboration between Nike and Kendrick Lamar, a TDE-signed artist.

We’ve already had two Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez in the ‘DAMN’ and ‘Kung Fu Kenny’ colorways and it looks like the third will be a black and red iteration of the same model.

The sneakers were teased on Dave Free’s Instagram alongside a TDE x Nike hoodie that will presumably be dropping during TDE’s The Championship Tour, a tour of sixteen different pop-up shops of which six are in partnership with Nike.

Sneakernews speculates that the Cortez sneakers could drop at those six Nike-sponsored pop-up locations in Houston, NYC, LA, Boston, Toronto, and Chicago.

No official word has been received from TDE, Kendrick Lamar, or Nike on whether the sneakers will release. Stay tuned for any updates.

In other sneaker news, this could be the new Balenciaga Triple S.
