‘Rick and Morty’ Incest Porn Might Actually Be a Thing

While the popular adult animated science fiction comedy series Rick and Morty has not been renewed for a fourth season just yet, VICE has dissected a very specific theme of the show – incest porn. According to their report, there’s a community of fans known as “C-137cest” who continue to push the incestual relationship of the cynical mad scientist Rick Sanchez and his easily influenced grandson Morty Smith.

‘Rick and Morty’ incest porn—known as “C-137cest”—is a thing, and it’s tearing the show’s fandom apart. Tap the link in bio to read our interview with some C-137cest fans and see some artwork, if you’re into that. Art by GhostyGoo-Girl.

In particular, it was highlighted during season 3, when a student version of Morty wished out loud hoping that “incest porn had a more mainstream appeal… for a friend.”

As VICE points out, the power interplay between these two characters fits into a sub/dom archetype and is crucial to comprehending the “C-137cest” incestuous creations.

A C-137cest fan, dubbed Futagogo, shared that since the show transverses multiple dimensions, “the infinite universes are absolutely key to the RickMorty fandom.” Adding, “Unlimited possible versions of these beloved characters conceivably exist, so this gives fan creators an endless sandbox in which to craft their own characters. [These fan-made Ricks and Mortys] can feel more valid than the average fan fiction since they could very well exist in the official Rick and Morty universe.”

Furthermore, Futagogo’s way of thinking is fueled in part by co-creator Justin Roiland, who endorsed C-137cest’s reveries in a 2015 tweet, saying “In many realities, Morty and Rick ARE in a passionate healthy romantic relationship,” he suggested. “Maybe we’ll do an episode about it.”

Interestingly, even co-creator Dan Harmon expressed his feelings on C-137cest known during a 2017 interview with VICE, saying “I could never ever, as a bona fide, card-carrying nerd, pervert, and fantasy advocate want to see an internet where written words entertaining even the darkest of fantasies are somehow not allowed… Why go down the path of making anybody so ashamed of their thoughts that they don’t express them?”

With this erotic storyline receiving acknowledgement from both co-creators, C-137cest artists have already began creating a diverse range of graphic incestuous imagery to further ship the RickMorty incest fandom.
