Highsnobiety Is Dropping 8 T-Shirt Collaborations, Here’s How to Cop

To celebrate the launch of Highsnobiety Japan, we’ve collaborated with some of our favorite labels — namely BAPE, Civilist, NOAH, PLEASURES, Richardson, ACRONYM, Bedwin & the Heartbreakers x Beautiful Boys, and N. Hoolywood — for a new limited T-shirt capsule collection.

Shot in Japan by Gogy Esparza, the lookbook above showcases our exclusive designs from nine different collaborators from our core cities of Berlin, New York and Tokyo.

Hailing from New York, we teamed up with Alex James’ brand PLEASURES to design a Highsnobiety tee with striking floral imagery on the front and the line “I fell asleep in Chelsea and woke up in Shibuya” repeated on the back, a reference to our new office location. For our Richardson collab, the notorious erotic magazine-turned-lifestyle brand supplied us with a car graphic and the tongue-in-cheek line “I Miss The Old New York” printed underneath. Our final collaborator from NYC, NOAH, paid tribute to the Japanese “Miyuki-Zoku” style tribe, a group of young people from the 1960s who donned preppy clothes (such as loafers) as a form of rebellion aginst school uniforms.

Presenting Highsnobiety’s collaborative T-shirt collection, celebrating the launch of @HighsnobietyJP. We curated eight designs with brands from Japan, the US, and Germany – Acronym, BAPE, Bedwin & the Heartbreakers x Beautiful Boys, Civilist, N. Hoolywood, NOAH, Pleasures, and Richardson – to design a range of super-limited T-Shirts. Each product is limited to 100 per design and will be available exclusively on Highsnobiety.com and Highsnobiety.jp. The shirts drop tomorrow, April 26 at 3PM CET / 9AM EST, along with the official launch of Highsnobiety Japan. 📷: @_gogito for Highsnobiety

Alongside Berlin-based brand ACRONYM, who utilized the color pink and unique printing techniques for an eye-catching datamosh graphic, you’ll see we also tapped skate shop Civilist to blend Berlin motifs (such as beer) with the Japanese flag, for an oversized graphic on the back.

From our new base in Tokyo, we tapped OG streetwear label BAPE for a classic camo tee, in a white/red colorway with Japanese and English text on the back. We also hit up Bebetan Watanabe’s brand Bedwin & the Heartbreakers, who partnered with NY art collective Beautiful Boys for a light pink “I Love You” tee. Lastly, we’ve collaborated with Japanese label N. Hoolywood for a dolman-sleeved tee to evoke the intricate graphic sensibilities of designer Daisuke Obana.

The capsule collection drops April 26 at 9am EST, 3pm CEST, 10pm JST only on Highsnobiety.com and Highsnobiety.jp.
