Kanye West & Kid Cudi Tap Takashi Murakami for Joint Album Artwork

We know – more Kanye West tweets – but these next two might pique the interests of those curious about the rapper’s recent music-related announcements.

In case you missed it, the G.O.O.D music head revealed that he and Kid Cudi would be releasing a joint album on June 8. According to these updates, it appears as if they’ve tapped artist Takashi Murakami for the album artwork.

Currently, the working title for the record is Kids See Ghosts and following suit, Murakami has drawn two anime-style portraits of the rappers in front what is presumably the “ghost” in question.

If you cast your mind back to August last year, the trio was spotted together at Murakami’s studio, which, given this new information, could suggest there is more to come.
