Romelo Lukaku is signing to JAY-Z’s management company, Roc Nation Sports. The Manchester United forward will become the first ever premier league player to sign to the talent agency.
In a recent game against Bournemouth, the player hinted at the deal by celebrating his 70th-minute goal with Roc Nation’s diamond-shaped salute. The Belgian player will follow on from Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng who joined in 2015.
Founded by JAY-Z in 2013, Roc Nation Sports currently represents a number of athletes across numerous major leagues, including the NFL, NBA, and Major League baseball. Other notable names on the roster include Golden State Warriors’ player Kevin Durant and Ndamukong Suh of the Miami Dolphins.
