Chloë Sevigny Resumes Her Role as the Face of X-Girl

Chloë Sevigny has resumed her role as the face of the cult ’90s label, X-Girl. Originally designed by musician Kim Gordon and stylist Daisy von Furth in 1994, the model/actress was one of the first to walk in the brand’s debut show and star in its first film.

During its earlier years, much of the label’s designs focussed on DIY aesthetics and skate-influenced stylings, with a hint of preppy chic. Amongst its fans were director Sofia Coppola and Bikini Kill singer, Kathleen Hanna – co-signs which ultimately helped ground the company’s cult-status.

While the brand was eventually sold off to a Japanese company in 1998, its latest “Made in 90s” collection pays homage to its roots.

As featured in the selection above, the collection includes three pastel-colored T-shirts with a full body shot of Sevigny against a Los Angeles background. Additionally, is the three-piece photobooth-image set as well as additional dresses, dungarees and branded Tees.
