Brand: Bally

Season: SS18

Key Pieces: Vibrant red low-top sneakers with the animal motif, timeless black and white track jacket, red polo shirt

Editor’s Notes: Swiss luxury fashion imprint Bally reintroduces its iconic Animal sneakers almost almost thirty years after it became a phenomenon of urban America’s street style and growing hip hop movement in the 1990s.

Just in time for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in April, the drop encompasses the Anistern low-top and Alpistar mid-stop sneakers, as well as other goodies like hats, track jackets, and matching pants, belts, book bags and more.

Essentially a celebration of the authentic love that grew out of not only New Orleans, but the rest of urban America, the line is rendered in a palette of red, blue and black, and launches exclusively with New Orleans-based lifestyle purveyor LIVƎ Nola, select Bally boutiques worldwide and online.

In other style news, r/streetwear hilariously parodies streetwear culture with countless April Fool’s posts.
