Following a very intimate encounter with Sophia the Robot, Will Smith recently turned to Instagram to share a pair of custom kicks. Gifted to him by tattoo artist Jimmy Butcher, better known as @thebutcherbrand, the all-white Nike Air More Uptempo shoes were given a steezy makeover Fresh Prince of Bel Air style.
As seen in the pictures below, the custom creps feature a spray paint job across the upper inspired by the logo from the hit ’90s television show. The “AIR” lettering on the side comes in a green gradient with a pink outline, while the toe box features green and purple dot work.
Smith, who served as the lead character for all six seasons of Fresh Prince shared an image of the “Bel Airs” with the caption “Hot Art & Kind Words.”
Take a closer look below and let us know in the comments if you’d cop these custom Nike Air Uptempos.
Just showed up to work and these were left for me! Shoutout to @thebutcherbrand for the Hot Art & Kind Words. #1of1
SNEAKERS!!! I call these the #belairs because I painted them to look like the #freshprinceofbelair logo so I could give them to @willsmith when he was in town. Maybe someone in Savannah can help me make that happen… please 😉 #customsneakers #airmoreuptempo #customnike #hesthedjimtherapper #kicksoftheday
